Pin Drop welcomes A. C. Grayling, philosopher, academic, author and master of the New College of Humanities in Bedford Square, London. A frequent broadcaster and contributing editor of Prospect Magazine, he also chaired of the 2014 Man Booker Prize judges and has written acclaimed and much-discussed works of contemporary thought including The God Argument and Friendship.
A C Grayling gave a short 10-minute philosophy talk on The Good Life followed by a reading of ‘The Schoolmaster‘ by Anton Chekhov, a short story informed by the same themes – all in the beautiful drawing room of a Georgian building in the heart of literary Bloomsbury.
