A Short Affair Showcase: Russell Tovey at Turner Contemporary

Pin Drop presents an evening with the critically acclaimed British actor, art collector and podcaster, Russell Tovey. Join us this Valentine’s Day at Turner Contemporary in Margate as Russell Tovey reads These Silver Fish by Anne O’Brien from A Short Affair, Pin Drop’s first anthology of original short fiction, featuring new illustrations by artists from the Royal Academy Schools.
Russell Tovey is one of the leading actors of his generation. He has starred in award-winning films including The Pass, Pride and Alan Bennett’s The History Boys, and played leading roles in major television shows including Quantico, HBO’s Looking, Him & Her and Being Human. Tovey is also committed to the theatre and has most recently starred in Pinter at the Pinter and last year’s award-winning production of Angels in America at the National Theatre.
Following his reading at the gallery, Tovey will be joined for an interview and audience Q&A. A Short Affair will also be available to purchase at the event.
Tickets £15 and includes a glass of prosecco.
